WHAT WE OFFER

  • Separate indoor and outdoor spaces for the Long day program and the Kindergarten program.

  • Two large, light filled rooms presenting environments that are positive, welcoming, relaxed and aesthetically pleasing. We use a wide variety of resources and natural materials.

  • Two generous outdoor play spaces including: cubby houses, challenging fixed climbing structures, large tan bark areas for movable climbing equipment, swings, large sandpits, and a lovely lawn area for ball activities. Sustainable elements that are incorporated include sensory gardens, water tanks and various natural materials.

  • Many opportunities for children to learn about the environment through hands on gardening experiences including the worm farm and a vegetable garden.

  • Water tanks in both yards encourage an awareness of this precious resource and the use of this water in our garden and sand experiences.

  • Intergenerational program as part of our 4-year-old Kindergarten program.

  • Regular incursion for Terms 2 and 3 as part of our 4-year-old Kindergarten program.

  • Excellent educator to child ratios.

  • Refurbished facilities with disability access.

  • Opportunities for families to connect with each other such as welcome parties, multicultural night etc

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO COUNTRY

Auburn Kindergarten and Child Care Centre would like to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of the land.

As part of our programs all children participate in learning about Aboriginal culture. Children also participate in an acknowledgement to country as part of the group meetings.
