CHILD SAFE STATEMENT

Auburn Kindergarten and Child Care Centre is committed to providing a safe environment for children. We have zero tolerance for child abuse. The Centre will create an environment where the health, safety and wellbeing of all children attending the Service, is paramount. The Centre has systems to protect children from abuse, and will take all allegations and concerns very seriously and respond to them consistently in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures.

All educators are trained and supported to execute timely and effective intervention for children and young people who may be at risk of abuse or neglect.  All educators will be suitably qualified and trained to supervise and protect the children in their care.

The Centre actively works to listen to and empower children and is committed to promoting cultural safety for all children including First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and to providing a safe environment for children with a disability.
